There are so many local businesses and artists that can benefit from a website ,but many don't have a clue how to build one . In our area most of them are dependent on the summer tourist .If you don't have a website ,you're only getting word of mouth referrals or people just stumbling across your place of business. Did you know that most tourist already know where they are going to park their RV's ,which motels they will stay at ,which attractions or tours they will reserve , where they will buy gifts , even where they will eat before they come to Alaska ? The ones that don't look it up before they leave are starting to use their cell phones ,blackberry ,or  lap tops to look it up while they are here .So if you don't have a website you are losing a lot of customers . A website can even help us locals find out what you have to offer , for instance ,now that Rose's Cafe  have their website , they can post the Grizzly Burger pictures ,specials, a menu for to go orders .For crafters or others that want to sell something online, I do have experience in configuring shopping carts . I had 6 other ecommerce gift websites of my own that I built and managed myself for 4 years.

I've noticed many businesses like Bed & Breakfast's ,dining  ect. around here are using directories for their business .Directory listings are fine ,but don't offer the flexibility of customizing or give the professionalism that having your own website to link to from those directories would give . I am currently working on some template ideas for the type of businesses that are around here and will be posting those to give you ideas ,the templates will be fully customizable to fit your business .I will be adding more templates often .I just started building this site and am doing it in my spare time so check back often to see what I have updated.
